WHAT HAPPENED IN THIS COMMITTEE? |

One thing that we have noticed about Mafia Council
is that when the floor agenda is open to the delegates in the beginning, is
that it always goes to the topic of who is going to be the leader. The way the delegates quickly and
efficiently worked together to put together a resolution set the pace and the
standard of how the committee was going to go. Whenever we threw something at them, they
would quickly come up with something interesting and work from there, whether
it be underhand dealings with other delegate or sending notes to us (as their
henchman) telling us to kill so and so or kidnap them or bribe, etc. Overall, the delegates made it a really fun
committee. We recall that as we were leaving the room for lunch, one of the
delegates met up with his friend and upon being asked how the committee was,
said delegate exuberantly expressed his enthusiasm and enjoyment of how the
committee was progressing. While throughout the committee, we somehow ended
up picking on one of the delegates (unintentionally), revealing her
underhanded dealings or her plots, she went with the flow and played her
part, making for exciting and tense debates going back and forth. While we
did tone down the heat on her, the vice-chair took upon himself to have forty
of her men killed, re-instigating other delegates heat on her. Once again she
went with the flow. Another delegate operated his ‘gang’ really well, making
secret underhand dealings and establishing connections and expanding his
businesses, etc. While everyone was scrambling to get a hand in the narcotics
business, yelling out numbers as if they were bidding for the drugs, while
this delegate was sending notes to us and forming secret and subtle
connections that when revealed to the committee not only left the other
delegates confused but also covered his tracks. All in all, it was the
delegates and how they performed as well as the funny accents that they were
throwing and the jokes they were making that made it an overall enjoyable
experience for all. |
